Rev.
Dr. John M. Crowe
is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and a member of the North
Carolina Conference with over 20 years in the pastorate. He writes a quarterly
church health column for Sharing The Practice: The International Journal for
Parish Clergy. In 2002, he launched The Body Anatomy and Church Health
Development Model web site. It is the
internet's first site for equipping healthier clergy and churches through
applying Biblical teaching to a congregation's anatomical subsystems. This site

His doctoral work on church health and experience with mental illness in his family led him to advocate for mental health within the United Methodist Church. In appreciation for his efforts, he received the 2002 Mental Health Association in North Carolina President's Award. In 2004, he was elected to serve as a member of the NC-NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) Board of Directors. He is a certified teacher of NAMI’s Family to Family Educational Course for relatives of the mentally ill. His web site also contains several pages related to the church's ministry to the mentally ill and their families. He received the Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina; and the Master of Divinity degree and the Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He and his wife Donna have two sons.

Director of MinistryHealth.net, Fischer has been an ordained pastor of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod since 1984. Currently Administrative Pastor of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Rochester Hills (Detroit), Michigan, Fischer has written extensively for numerous publications including Net Results, Christian Counseling Today, Enrichment, and numerous other publications. Asbury Theological Seminary and other church-related ministries have featured Fischer's writings.
In January, 2005, the Fischer's chapter "Understanding Congregational Anxiety" appeared in the Alban Institute book entitled, WWW.Congregational Resources.Org.
Fischer's M.S.A. Dissertation was accepted by Central Michigan University as part of the requirements for this Masters Degree program. It considers the relationship of lay leadership training and church growth.

Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He and his
wife Paula have two married daughters.
